CROSSROADING HAMLET Travel Journal
CROSSROADING HAMLET Travel Journal
This Journal is Different!
As a unique companion to our Crossroading Hamlet Play Guide, our CROSSROADING HAMLET TRAVEL JOURNAL will allow your curiosity to flourish! In this guided journal we give you encouragement and freedom to make observations of the characters and their experiences as you read the play guide. We guide you, step by step, through the journey, pointing out interesting ideas along the way.
We do NOT tell you what to think about the play. In this Travel Journal, meant to be used with the Play Guide, we give guidance as you formulate your own ideas. Your own written entries lead you to a clearer understanding of the play. As your curiosity leads you deeper into the world of Hamlet, you will explore the locations, meanings and scores of other relevant things particularly intriguing to YOU. During this process you will arm yourself with knowledge, enabled to draw your own conclusions, and gain confidence in your understanding of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
SHAKESPEARE IS FOR EVERYONE!
OUR RECOMMENDATION:
The Travel Journal is a companion journal for the Play Guide, not meant as a stand-alone study, although it is available separately from the set. Here’s why. The Travel Journal is meant to enable one student to record his or her own impressions of characters, situations, places, interactions, and whole understanding of HAMLET. If you have more than one student, all students may use the Play Guide, but each will need their own Travel Journal, as each student will benefit from recording their own understanding of this most complex of Shakespeare’s works.
